Memories pour
into the much occupied brain
Of the joyous
days, of the good times you had
They appear in
endless way, with laughter clad
Spreading across
each cell
Like the warm
muddy smell
Soaking you wet
until no thought left
You wait for a
flood to sweep you back there
But neither the
flood nor the wind takes you anywhere
Wishing to turn
back time
You realize it’s
not in the hands of mine
Live for this
day, live for today
Let memories be
made to cherish forever
For you know,
it’s now or never!
